It's been working for me for the last few years. No problems thus far.

Enough for what exactly? Peace of mind....maybe for some. I'd say if you worried....use a public wifi like mcdonalds. But don't go in the store, so your not on camera. And use a VPN while there, for extra security.

It's above and beyond and more secure I agree. What about the cameras on the outside of the building? Couldn't they catch you on those? I'm only assuming because their WiFi range isn't the best from my experience.

Yeah, I definitely believe you'll be on camera even outside the building. Plates as well if you are in a car.

Soooooooo welcome to opsec and persec 101!

Rule 1: Whatever you're doing, it's not enough.
Rule 2: Remember all VPNs and proxies are not equal.

Really though, VPNs aren't all the same. Some log data, some don't. Some comply with data turnover warrants, some can't because they have no data to hand over. A VPN is only the first stage for proper anonymity. You should then be going through a proxy and using a spoofed MAC address and something that hides your system fingerprint (ie something that spoofs your browser type, resolution, OS and so on.) All of those can lead to your identity being leaked.

Or don't do anything illegal. That works better.

A VPN is fine... But how are you paying for it?

Are you using YOUR address for shipping?

I always say to people, if your asking questions as 'simple' as this... Your going to fuck up. So, Don't break the law and stay paranoid.
No. Yes?... No... Yes, please? No no no...

If you aren't doing anything illegal, no point in using a VPN.
Relax. You are not anybody's target.

Yes outside cams could get ya, but the outside ones tend to be grainier and determining which car is using the wifi will take more work. True security is a myth... all we can do, is make it harder. Low hanging fruit.

I don't agree. I think everyone should have one. Most of us are not murderers or rapists or bank robbers but what gives anyone the right to track my spending, interests, location, etc in real time. Of course most agencies know everything we are going to do beforehand but why willingly confirm it or hand it over. I deleted Facebock [refused Twitter and Instagram and all the other messes], Youtube, etc but these will all give you away if you try to use them to any extent with a VPN.
