The Body Keeps the Score

What’s up fellow chemers. Lmao.
So I’ve been diving into this exciting new book written by a psychiatrist and it describes his experiences with treatments with ptsd patients. It covers ptsd all the way from combat veterans to victims of childhood sexual abuse. Its a very interesting and powerful read as you go past each chapter.

I’m only halfway through so far and mostly it’s explained brain chemistry and why we feel certain ways and hasn’t gotten to the treatment or interactive part for people who sufffer from ptsd.
I just find this read so damn interesting and wanted to see if anyone else has read or heard about this wonderful book by Dr Bessel van der Kolk

If you’re interested in psychology, this is a definite read!!!
